Say hello to my new favourite red jumper!
Red is the colour of the season and I can’t get enough of it, in fact you can’t avoid it, so luckily for me I don’t have to.
It has never been a colour I gravitated towards but it seems I am slowly filling my wardrobe with all the red items I can find. The power of marketing, eh!
I have been thinking long and hard about the types of outfit posts I will be putting up now that I feel we have properly hit the Autumn/Winter seasons. The weather is more dull, dare I say rainy..and generally that bit colder.
Can I post 6 months of jumpers? Probably. But I will try to mix it up. I promise!
Em..but starting off, i’m posting a jumper (the next post will not be knitwear inspired, pinky swear).
I snapped this one up specifically because of the colour. We were down in Glasgow having just returned from Riga and I didn’t have anything too warm to wear to Eminem. So of course, I popped into ye olde faithful Primark for a back up jumper in case the weather got colder, or wetter.
For years I have commented on how great Primark knitwear is. Maybe not quality (although it is perfectly acceptable) but in affordability. We all know we can go to other high street stores and pick one jumper up for the cost of nearly £50!
In all seriousness though, you aren’t likely to wear that one jumper daily for the next 3 months (or longer) so Primark prices of around £13 can be a great in between.
They come out with some great options, so definitely keep an eye out!
Yes, it’s considered throwaway fashion but hey, don’t knock it because I have received far more compliments on this red jumper in the past couple of weeks than I have on significantly more expensive alternatives!
