As a warning.. this maaay be a picture heavy post!
I was gifted these products by +Fake Bake for a review.
Really, it was perfect timing. My bronzer was coming to an end, and as i'm about to go on holiday
I was looking for something new to try.. something a little darker to wear with a bit of a tan!
I have tried Fake Bake tan, but none of the cosmetics so I was definitely intrigued!
To start with, I really like the outer packaging.
And I am one of these people that keeps products in packaging (as long as I can).. I don't know why.
OCD? Just me? :)
The packaging of the actual product is a leopard print, it doesn't tickle my fancy as much.
I think it's a little bit gaudy for my personal taste.. animal print never really appealed to me, but it is growing on me haha maybe because it's just so different!
The Bronzing Powder Compact was definitely darker than I tend to buy, but that is what I wanted!
It has a touch of shimmer running through it, but nothing to distract from the fact it is a great bronzer.
I am very pale naturally, I tend to purchase an Ivory/Porcelain shade in most foundations so I was
a little nervous that this might look a little muddy/dirty on me but it doesn't at all.
The first time I applied this, I used the same amount I would for my previous bronzer..
but it was far, far too much! The colour payoff and pigmentation is really good.
Fake Bake Bronzer "Use with a damp cosmetic sponge and it becomes a foundation or brush all over the face, decolletage and shoulders for a glow that isn't "orangey". Bronzy Babe bronzing powder has triple pigmentation which means that, you need use less, it looks fresh and stays put for longer and in a generous sized compact with mirror, it will last for ages!"
If you buff this in properly, you do get that tanned glow effect.
*grumpy scruffy picture alert*
Ah, unstraightened, fluffy hair and low key makeup for an impromptu meeting with my mum!
I don't wear too much product as I am pale at the moment, but you can see a subtle difference.
Apart from bronzer.. blusher is one of my favourite products!
I tend not to stray from coral-pink tones so (sadly) this was a tad adventurous for me haha :)
Legal Sunburn Pink Blusher is a dual blush, with your matte colour and a highlight.
Again, this has some shimmer running through it and the pigment/colour payoff is brilliant.
And again, I used far too much to begin with! When will I learn..
I can say it is easy to blend in though, if this is an issue you have as well!
This is a gorgeous bright pink if you like a more vibrant colour on your cheeks,
but I did blend it to a more subdued shade for that glow!
I also received this kabuki brush which has non synthetic bristles, and is so so soft!
I am a such a sucker for new brushes!
This brush has the leopard print bottom, and a diamante top.
Lastly I received this lip gloss in Drama Queen
This gloss is a lot darker than my usual pinks, it is a deep bronze/red gloss with lots and lots of gold glitter!
I may include this in a seperate post, to show a picture!
Prices vary from £8-20 and can be purchased here!
Have you tried any of the Fake Bake products?
