Art Appreciation

I went to the Art Gallery in Aberdeen on Sunday with my mum.

It has been YEARS since I was last there.. sadly as I am to say it!

I used to go into the cafe, or to the shop.. although the artwork never seemed to change all that often,
and it certainly wasn't always to my taste.

But as I found myself in there I thought.. crikey, they are making an effort to try and reach the younger generation!
And it actually caught my attention.

I didn't take too many pictures, there is a man who watches you carefully as you wander!
But above are a couple of the pieces and I suppose I just liked them so thought I would share!

Me and my mum did decide to take a peek at the gift shop
and found all these purses/wallets/passport holders
in such pretty colours.

Bright blues and purples and pinks,
and then your more classic browns and blacks.

My mum picked up this little leather bag, which she is going to keep her day to day makeup in.
I would have bought my own but sadly this was the last, and its was a cheap as chips £7!

I couldn't beliiieve it!

Hope they get some more in soon!
