Rare Striped Skirt

As I sit here writing this on a Saturday night, watching a programme about fallen beauty queens...
stripped of crowns for putting on weight, or other things just as awful! =/

I am feeling rather delicate about my own being :)

I received this skirt from Rare London a couple of weeks ago,
they were generous enough to allow me to choose an item of clothing
and I thought this skirt would be an ideal dress up or down item
that would fit into my wardrobe.

It is a striped black and sheer with a net underskirt

Of course they have some beautiful fancy dresses but to me this is, as I said
an easy option for putting together outfits!

I would obviously be wearing tights at this time of the year,
I am horrified to still see girls on nights out without them..
but I felt you could see the detail better without as well.

I love these types of skirts, I wore this with a tshirt
but I would normally wear this with a plain (long sleeved) top and let the skirt be my more statement piece.

It makes me feel like a jewellery box doll.. but a darker version,
and that makes me a little happy :)
